About the Experience
We’re bringing the community together, kids, families, walkers, and runners, for a morning of movement in celebration of freedom, gathering at the Salisbury City Park Bandstand.
A space where movement, history, and community come together to honor freedom, not just as something we remember, but something we actively step into.
This Community 5K (3.2 miles) invites you to move with intention, whether you walk or run, alongside others through a shared experience rooted in culture, reflection, and connection.
Walk. Run. Show up.
You’re part of something bigger.
Because when we gather with purpose, something powerful starts to move.

Juneteenth marks the day freedom was realized for enslaved Black Americans, delayed, but not denied.
On the Eastern Shore, where history runs deep, we move with intention through that legacy, honoring those who came before us while creating space for what comes next.
This isn’t just about miles.
It’s about meaning. -
